Landscape Photographers

Chris Burkard 1. This photograph depicts a road cutting through an open field. This field has flowers that decorate it, along with a rising sun coming in from the background. 2. I really like the stillness the picture provides me. It is very calming, and reminds me of a long road trip coming to an end. 3. The leading lines in this image make it feel like it could go on forever. Although not necessarily symmetrical, both sides have a lot unity and tell similar stories. 4. That he has won Red Bull awards for his photographs. Sebastian Salgado 1. The photo shows a mountain top, probably a volcano, focusing on the close wild life with a body of water in the background. 2. I like the eeriness this photo brings. The intensity of the blacks along with the grain of the photo gives it more of a eeriness than a colored photo could. 3. The depth of field focusing on the plants, with the body of water just in the background, with the moving clouds. 4. He studied economics before pursuing his...

Ansel Adams Documentary

 1. Ansel Adams was born in San Francisco in the Winter of 1902. 2. Adams didn't really excel in proper school settings, and was instead taught by his father and other tutors. 3. Ansel was just 14 years old when he first visited Yosemite. 4. It took around 2 days back then. 5. A Kodak #1 Black was given to him by his father. 6. The wilderness group that John Muir founded years before, Adams hiked with the Sierra Club. 7. Franklin D. Roosevelt was the one who decided to support Kings Canyon National Park after being persuaded by Adams. 8. Moonrise Hernandez was one of the photographs featured in the documentary, and is one of the most iconic photographs of the 20th century 9. He was nearing 70 years old. 10. He was honored with a museum dedicated after him, and many other honors and places after.

Lightbulb

 1. I added this crude drawing of a character from a show that I watch, as it really seems like he actually could end up in this situation, stuck in a lightbulb.

Jett Bubbles Cinemagraph

Image
 1. I photographed Jett blowing some bubbles just over the stairwell. I succeeded in getting the bubbles and a Jett still in the shot, but the cinemograph finishes just before the bubbles go away. 2. I like how Jett is positioned in a way that you can't see the bubbles ever coming out of the wand. 3. I would better position the camera in a way to capture all the bubbles. 4. That some shooting positions show something that is incompatible with being a cinemograph.
